JACKSONVILLE CHAPTER
The Selva Marina Country Club in Atlantic Beach was the setting for the superb dinner meeting held on Monday evening, April 19, 1999. Well attended by nearly ninety alumni and guests, we socialized during a cocktail hour followed by a delicious well-served dinner. Travelling from Annapolis for the occasion Colonel Dave Vetter '67, USNA Dean of Admissions, gave us a truly outstanding speech detailing most aspects of the admission process, how the Ethics and Morality courses are benefiting the midshipmen, and the increasing need of awareness necessary from the public about the USNA and its path to a military career.
