Old Business:

A. July 16^th Event. Mike complemented Board for the well run event.

New Business:

A. Death of Alumni. The very recent passing of Admiral Bob Graham ’34 and Bill

Flannery ’44, caused the Board to ask that the President send a letter or card of

condolences to surviving spouse and/or family of deceased Chapter members. Mike to

pursue mechanism and implement.

B. Treasurer Position. Brett to follow up with prospective candidates. Board also agreed

not to pursue tax exempt status for Chapter.

C. Next Event. Several items were discussed, including several alternatives for a member

appreciation event and get togethers surrounding possible television broadcasts of Navy

football games. In the end the Board decided to plan a normal event for either of the first

two weeks of October @ UNF. Bill Farnsworth to contact UNF, Mike to contact possible

speakers – Admiral Byron Fuller ‘51 or Dan McCarthy ‘80. Board also re-iterated that

future event flyers will offer transportation to those who may need it.
